Due to the firm’s extensive experience in commercial legal practice in Jordan, we have been steadily involved, over the years, in the drafting of several varied laws and regulations. Following, are the firm’s most notable achievements in this regard:

• The firm has been commissioned to draft the Palestinian Stock Exchange rules and regulations.
• The firm drafted, on behalf of the Jordanian Government and the World Bank, the Securities Law and related Companies Law, the Safeguard Law, the Secured Financing and Leasing Law, the Provident Funds Law, and the Trusts Law.
• The firm was commissioned by the Central Bank of Jordan to draft the new Deposit Insurance Law and to assist in drafting the new Banking Law.
• The firm was involved in the drafting of the new Sales Tax Law.
• The firm advised the Government of Jordan regarding the regulatory regime governing the privatisation of the three Jordanian airports.
• The firm is advising the Government of Jordan regarding the regulatory regime governing the privatisation of the public transport sector.
• The firm advised the Government of Jordan regarding the regulatory regime governing the privatisation of the Jordan Telecommunications Company (“JTC”).
• The firm advised the Government of Jordan regarding the regulatory regime governing the privatisation of the Royal Jordanian Airlines.
