The firm is uniquely experienced in the securities laws and regulations in Jordan,
and advises on a wide range of securities related transactions. In 1996 and 1997,
the firm was commissioned by the Government of Jordan and the World Bank to draft
the Jordanian Securities Law and related Companies Law amendments. The Jordanian
Government continues to solicit the advice of the firm on the various amendments
to, and interpretation of, the provisions of the said two laws. The firm has also
been commissioned to draft the Palestinian Stock Exchange rules and regulations.
The firm provides a full range of services for underwriters and issuers of securities,
including public offerings of equity and investment-grade debt, both locally and
internationally. In addition to advising local banks and financial institutions,
the firm regularly advises various international financial institutions and brokerage
firms on potential offerings of securities in the Jordanian market.
