and assists both local and foreign companies in expanding their business in Jordan
and overseas. The firm’s particular strengths include domestic and international
joint ventures, corporate mergers and acquisitions, formation/transformation of
public and private shareholding companies, venture capital, project financing, technology
transfer, agency, distributorship and licensing arrangements, and all other issues
emanating therefrom. The firm’s experience with large, complex, cross-border, and
multi jurisdictional transactions enables it to render effective and timely service
to its clients.
The firm advises its corporate clients on many issues including
tax, social security, and competition law, and provides extensive contract drafting
and negotiation assistance on a wide range of contract matters. The firm renders
comprehensive corporate registration services whereby the firm registers, follows
up, and liaises with the Ministry of Industry and Trade on behalf of its clients.
With regard to Intellectual Property (IP) work, the firm has established an affiliated
office, which deals exclusively with IP issues, in order to handle the large volume
of IP work that the firm receives.
